2nd Annual International Conference

Current Trends of Administrative Law and Administrative Procedures

Transformation in the public administration system has traditionally been in the focus of legal scholarship. Today, the system of public administration is facing global challenges and undergoing global changes. There is an ongoing transformation of the principles of organization and formation of the state power in the Russian Federation. The aim of our conference is to reflect on the changes to the system of public administration in the context of the constitutional reform announced in January 2020.

The questions that could be addressed include the following:

  • analysis of the current constitutional changes in Central and Eastern Europe against the backdrop of the broader comparative and historical context: comparative study of changes in public administration and government;
  • analysis of current state, trends, and innovations of administrative law, administrative process, administrative proceedings, and administrative procedure law;
  • trends in the legislation on administrative offences and the practice of its enforcement.

The Conference programme will feature plenary session with the participation of government officials, as well as presentations by leading Russian and foreign scientists, business representatives and experts in administrative law.

A session on Administrative Law of Foreign Countries will be held within the framework of the conference.
