On October 27, 2025, the Research Laboratory Held a Seminar on the Topic: "The Approach of International Financial Institutions to National Sanctions"

The seminar was conducted in English and was devoted to the analysis of sanctions regimes that are relevant to international financial institutions (IFIs). 

The presentation examined the path from sanctions systems administered by the IFIs themselves to sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council, and further to unilateral economic sanctions. Attention was also paid to a detailed analysis of unilateral economic sanctions, the risks they create for IFIs, their clients, and projects. In conclusion, practical approaches to mitigating these risks were proposed.
