HSE Faculty of Law and Hassan II University of Casablanca Discuss Cooperation Prospects

During the talks, the parties discussed potential avenues for developing scientific and educational cooperation in the field of law, student and faculty participation in academic mobility programmes, as well as prospects for representatives of the Moroccan university to enroll in continuing professional education programmes offered by the HSE Faculty of Law.

HSE Faculty of Law and Hassan II University of Casablanca Discuss Cooperation Prospects

A working meeting between representatives of the Faculty of Law and a delegation from Hassan II University of Casablanca took place at HSE University. The Hassan II University is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Morocco, comprising 18 faculties, schools and institutes across several campuses in Casablanca and Mohammedia.

The HSE Faculty of Law side was represented by:
Ms. Albina Gadzhieva, First Deputy Dean;
Mr. Alexander Larichev, Deputy Dean for Research;
Ms. Alexandra Kasatkina, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs;
Ms. Elena Shchegolkova, Director of the Centre for Continuing Professional Education;
Mr. Vitaliy Sochnov, Director of the International Cooperation Centre, Faculty of Law.

The Hassan II University of Casablanca delegation at the meeting included:
Mr. Mustapha Lhider, Vice-President in charge of Research and Cooperation;
Ms. Fatima Zahra Alami, Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences;
Mr. Adam Chati, Deputy Dean for Internationalization;
Mr. Abdel Fettah El Fatin, Head of the Public Law Department.

The participants emphasized the importance of the working meeting, which made it possible to outline the contours of long term cooperation between the two universities. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue and move towards planning concrete joint initiatives.
