On October 8, 2026, an international scientific and practical roundtable was held at the Department of Criminal Law, Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. The topic of the roundtable was “Countering offenses committed using information and telecommunications technologies: current issues and problems of law enforcement.” During the event, the following speakers took the floor: Ph.D. in Law, associate professors of the department R.O. Dolotov and S.P. Zhdanov; foreign scholars: a representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor A.B. Skakov; representatives of the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor V.V. Khilyuta of Y. Kupala Grodno State University; representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus; practitioners: Legal Advisor at LLC “WELLGROUP” A.V. Vovk. Faculty members of the department also took part in the discussion.

On October 9, 2026, a preliminary defense of Roman Igorevich Krokhin’s candidate’s dissertation will take place at a meeting of the Department of Criminal Law, Procedure, and Criminalistics at the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics.

E.A. Artamonova, a professor at the Department of Criminal Law, Procedure and Criminology at the Faculty of Law at the Higher School of Economics, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Legislation on Combating Crime: Doctrine and Law Enforcement.”

On July 20, 2026, the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation held a roundtable discussion with senior lecturer Liana Chobanyan. The discussion focused on systemic problems in enforcement proceedings—failure to meet deadlines, bailiff inaction, seizure of property not subject to seizure, and the enormous workload of FSSP employees—in search of a legal model that is optimal for both creditors and debtors.

On April 24, 2026, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "The Evolution of Criminal Justice: Traditions, Innovations, and Prospects" was held at the Department of Criminal Law, Process, and Criminalistics of the HSE Faculty of Law. The event brought together leading legal scholars, practicing lawyers, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legal profession.

On March 20, 2026, the Department of Criminal Law, Process and Criminalistics of the HSE Faculty of Law hosted the All-Russian Round Table "Pre-Trial Cooperation Agreement: Law Enforcement Issues and Defense Tactics." The event brought together leading Russian procedural scientists, practitioners and novice researchers for a comprehensive discussion of one of the most complex and controversial institutions of modern criminal procedure law.
