Ensuring the availability of legal information and legal services

This direction involves consideration of issues of implementation and (if necessary) legal regulation of services that increase the availability of legal information to the public (texts of Laws and other regulations, court decisions), the availability of services that automate legal services and consultations, machine-readable Law technologies. Within the framework of the project, it is necessary to determine:

— is the current level of accessibility of legal information to the public sufficient, what are the main obstacles to ensuring the availability of legal information and how can these obstacles be overcome

— what activities (services) would increase the legal literacy of the population, the awareness of citizens about the content of legal norms affecting their rights and obligations

— which legal services or consultations for the public can be automated, and which of the existing or developing services meet these tasks to the greatest extent

— what level of development of linguistic technologies is necessary for the implementation of machine-readable Law technologies, to what extent this level has already been achieved and in which areas the format of machine-readable Law can be introduced in the first place.
