The Laboratory was launched in 2021 in order to introduce students, postgraduates and young teachers to practical experience in creating new and modernizing existing applied information systems and technologies in Law.
The main tasks of the Laboratory:
— Creating an environment for HSE students to build prototypes of solutions in the field of Law and to test these solutions in existing industry companies
— Implementation of educational projects in the field of legal information systems in order to identify the requirements for information systems to be used in jurisprudence
— Ensuring the connection of ongoing projects with training programs, including the results of project activities in training courses
— Methodological guidance of students' work on projects dedicated to the creation, application and modernization of information systems and technologies in the legal field
— Implementation of research activities in the field of applied information systems and technologies in Law
— Interaction with innovative structural divisions of the Higher School of Economics to test new solutions and approaches to optimizing legal work using information technology
— Conducting master classes, practical classes, seminars on applied information systems and technologies in Law
— Implement projects on the following topics: «Transformation of the legal profession under the influence of information systems and technologies», «Ensuring the availability of legal information and legal services».
