Yana Prigoda, a trainee researcher at the NUL, took first place at the International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "Prospects and Problems of Development of the Eurasian Economic Union: a Legal Dimension".
On April 27, 2021, the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics hosted an international scientific conference of young scientists among undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students of Russian and foreign universities on "Prospects and Problems of the Development of the Eurasian Economic Union: a legal dimension". Among the speakers of the conference was a trainee researcher of the NUL Yana Prigoda.
At the opening ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Law Vadim Vinogradov addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. Vadim Alexandrovich stressed the special role of young people in the processes of Eurasian integration and noted the importance of the contribution of young researchers in the study of legal issues of the EAEU. The head of the Department of International Law Vera Rusinova, the Director of the Department of Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Alexey Sushkevich, the Director of the Institute of Law and Development of the Higher School of Economics also made presentations at the plenary session – Skolkovo Alexey Ivanov, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University Tatyana Mikhaleva, Academic Head of the Master's Program "Law of International Trade, Finance and Economic Integration" Vladislav Starzhenetsky, Head of the Research and Training Laboratory for Research in the field of Protection of state Interests in the Context of Economic Sanctions of the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics Daria Boklan and Adviser to the judicial and Arbitration practice of Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev and Partners Vladimir Talanov.
According to the results of the presented reports, the best ones were determined within each section. In the section "The EAEU in the face of new Challenges and Threats", the prizes were distributed as follows: first place – Juliana Latypova (VAVT of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation), second place-Yaroslav Mavlyutov (HSE-Nizhny Novgorod), third place-Grigor Yeritsyan( Lomonosov Moscow State University); in the section "The problem of accounting for legal risks and harmonization of national legislation of the EAEU member States": first place – Sabina Mustafayeva (Baltic Federal University named after I. Kant), second place-Boris Okishev (Kutafin Moscow State Law University), third place-Natalia Potemkina (ANO VO "Russian New University"); in the section and "Interaction of the EAEU with other international organizations, regional associations, individual regions and states": first place-Yana Prigoda (HSE), second place-Maria Zhivykh (MGIMO (U) MFA of Russia), third place – Eka Khorbaladze (Lomonosov Moscow State University).
