Course Syllabus

Abstract

Annotation The main purpose of the discipline "Foreign language" is the formation of communicative competence, i.e. ability and readiness to realize interpersonal and cross-cultural communication with native speakers by means of a foreign language. The purposes of the discipline "Foreign language" in the context of Bachelor's program are improvement of foreign language proficiency skills, as well as obtaining by the students of special competence for business communication in the fields of professional and scientific activities when interacting with foreign counterparts. For achieving the set goals in the context of this discipline the following tasks are solved: - deepening listening skills in relation to the new language material; - improving the correct pronunciation skills with regard to the new lantern material; - learning the basic rules of a foreign language structure, its morphology and syntax; - correction and development of the skills of productive using the grammar forms and constructions; - developing the communication skills on professional topics; - getting acquainted with foreign scientific and reference professionally oriented literature and mastering the translation skills of professionally oriented literature; - upbringing of tolerance and respect to spiritual values of different countries and peoples; - developing of informational culture and general culture of students; developing the ability for self-education. The discipline provides the preparation of a graduate for law-enforcement and norm-creating professional activity.

To teach the students to the skills of composition, understanding and using in their speech of the special English used in international and negotiable communication; 3.
