Forum structure
The Faculty of Law is hosting the first Forum of the Consortium. The Forum comprises the following key events:
Assembly of Consortium Members
A meeting where representatives of member institutions gather to discuss and decide on future directions.
- The official segment of the Forum, during which new Consortium members will be inducted.
- Presentation of the outcomes from the Consortium's working groups.
- A conference addressing issues of legal education within BRICS, focusing on key topics agreed upon during the PMJF event. BRICS universities will be invited to showcase innovative approaches to legal education in their respective countries.
Conference on "Digital Competencies in Legal Education in BRICS Countries"
BRICS universities are invited to showcase innovative approaches to legal education in their respective countries.
BRICS LEX Model
A flagship event that brings together students, academics, and practitioners for a comprehensive discussion on law and governance in the BRICS nations.
- The objective of the conference is to draft an international investment treaty focused on investment protection for BRICS countries.
- Participants: Law students enrolled in undergraduate, specialist, and master's degree programs at BRICS universities. Number of Participants: 2 to 4 team members + 1 coach.
Inauguration of the BRICS Legal Studies Centre at the Faculty of Law
A ceremony marking the formal establishment of the Centre, which will serve as a hub for research and collaboration on BRICS-related legal issues.
Open Lectures by Consortium Faculty Members
Regular sessions where experts share their knowledge and insights on a wide range of topics related to law and governance in the BRICS nations.

Programme

Day 1
Official Forum activities, featuring the induction of new Consortium members and showcasing the results of the Consortium's working groups. The day will also include a conference on BRICS-related legal education issues, building on the key takeaways from the previous event. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be held for all Forum participants and partners.

Day 2
The second day will be dedicated to the official opening of the BRICS Legal Studies Centre at the Faculty of Law. It will also feature open lectures for HSE students, a round table discussion for practitioners and presentations, and other engaging activities.

Day 3
The official closing ceremony of the Forum will reflect on the accomplishments of the previous two days and outline the way forward, followed by the BRICS LEX Model award ceremony. Participants will also visit one of the legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.
A guided sightseeing tour of Moscow will be offered to all Forum guests, providing a unique opportunity to experience the city's rich history and culture.
The Forum is expected to receive coverage from Russian media, including the international TV channel, TV BRICS.
