Course Syllabus

Abstract

This discipline is aimed at studying the legal assessment of torts, misdemeanors and crimes in the context of economic activity. The course examines the main categories and types of offenses faced by economic entities, including legal entities and individuals. Students will study the key provisions of criminal, administrative, and civil law governing liability for economic offenses. Special attention is paid to the analysis of such issues as the principles of legal assessment of actions and omissions, causing damage, liability for violations in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as consequences and response measures by law enforcement agencies. During the course, practical cases are considered, which will allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in analyzing real-world situations and developing recommendations for the prevention of offenses in the economic sphere. It also focuses on international approaches to the legal assessment of economic crimes and torts, which will allow students to understand global trends in this area. The study of this discipline contributes to the formation of students' understanding of the importance of legal assessment in protecting economic interests, as well as the development of critical thinking and legal analytics skills necessary for successful professional activity in the field of law and economic security.

• • Developing the ability to creatively and critically analyze the provisions of criminal, administrative, civil and special legislation, general and special sciences

• Is able to analyze the content of normative acts regulating the practice of countering economic crime.
• Knows how to apply basic research methods.
• Has skills in applying the rules of interpretation of the law and qualification of crimes and offenses.
• Knows the basic provisions of the criminal law, administrative, tax and currency legislation.
• Knows the basic norms of international law in the field of combating economic crime.
