Located at a crossroads of global, regional, and national interests, contemporary international law affects almost all spheres of society. The School of International Law keeps pace with significant international events and legal adjudication in order to provide hands-on education that prepares future lawyers and legal scholars for the demands of the current legal landscape. The School is at once a ‘think tank’ that provides expert analysis and a producer of top legal experts and lawyers in international law.

As it says on the project page:
“this is a series of interviews with outstanding women who have achieved professional success in such a challenging field as international law. We ask them to tell us about their career path, what difficulties they face and how they overcome them, and to give advice to those who are just beginning their journey in the profession”.
The project team assumes that “the stories and advice of established professionals will help both those who are just beginning to learn about this fascinating field and those who are already building their careers to see role models, be inspired by how they solved similar problems, learn about new opportunities, and ultimately find their own voice in international law”.
The first interview in the project was a conversation with V.N. Rusinova.
