On April 13 – 16, 2022, the Faculty of Law will host the Third Model UN of the Higher School of Economics

The HSE Model UN is a role-playing game with elements of an academic conference, in which delegates emulate the work of United Nations bodies in several official languages.

During several days the candidates – delegates from different countries – will discuss a broad agenda, ranging from space and digital technologies problems to the status of failed states and overcoming a humanitarian crisis. At the end of the discussions, the delegates will draw up an official document – their committee’s resolution.

The Model also publishes a monthly student magazine, The HSEMUN Today, devoted to the themes of the model. The working languages of the magazine are the same as the main UN languages.

The model’s official page is https://pravo.hse.ru/hsemun.

The model is organized with the support of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the Higher School of Economics.
