The HSE Faculty of Law team has successfully taken part in the Russian rounds of the prestigious competition in international law named after F. Jessup (International Law Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition), held from February 1 to 5 in in-person format.

On December 10, 2022, a competition on international law was held among 2nd year bachelor students. The competition was held as a simulation of the hearing of the case in the International Court of Justice according to the rules of the Ph. Jessup Competition.

The HSE Faculty of Law team successfully participated in both Russian and international rounds of the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (Jessup Competition), which was held online from February 5 to 20 (Russian national rounds) and from March 24 to April 10 (international rounds) 2022.

By subject ‘Law’ the Higher School of Economics has been ranked 85th, higher than the Bologna University, University of Helsinki, University of Geneva, and Trinity College. As in the previous year, the HSE is the only Russian university in the ranking, which once again highlights the position of the university as the leading Russian school of law.

Composite inter-campus courses competition is held by the HSE Education Innovation Fund in order to develop and strengthen inter-campus faculty cooperation through the effective use of digital distance learning technologies.  

Five professors of the School of International Law chosen as “Best Teachers 2021”!

HSE students voted for best teachers of 2021, resulting in five professors of the School of International Law being chosen: professors D.Boklan, E. Ivanov, V. Rusinova, V. Starzhenetsky and visiting lecturer S. Usoskin.
