HSE Faculty of Law promotes cooperation with the BRICS countries: the launch of the Consortium of BRICS Law Schools
At the end of last year, HSE University invited several leading higher education organizations of the BRICS countries to bring together efforts to develop legal science and practice for the benefit of BRICS and join the Consortium of BRICS Law Schools. The initiative to create the Consortium was launched by Vadim Vinogradov, the Dean of the Faculty of Law.

HSE University Graduates to Be Able to Receive Diplomas in NFT Format
HSE University and the social network VK are launching a pilot project to issue NFT diplomas. The diplomas will take the form of digital images with programmed metadata about the graduate, their educational programme, and year of graduation. Graduates of 38 continuing professional education programmes at the Faculty of Law from 2019–2023 will be the first to receive such diplomas. Based on the results of the pilot project, the possibility of implementing the innovation in other faculties and educational programmes will be considered.

On 15 September 2023, an international conference 'International, National and Corporate Dimension of the ESG-agenda: Does Climate Change Law?' organised by the Faculty of Law was held. This scientific event was one of the first where climate change issues were discussed within a broad interdisciplinary discourse combining legal and economic expertise, international and national law, theoretical research and practical insights, and the approaches of Russian and foreign regulators.
